World University Of Prayer and Fasting

The World University of Prayer and Fasting is a Christian Institution that God gave Brother Zach to serve His interests through His people all over the world, no matter the Christian group to which they belong.

It serves the people of Christian Missionary Fellowship International specifically with respect to helping them to accomplish the goal God gave them. The World University of Prayer and Fasting started in September 1999 with a Special School of Prayer at the Obili Centre of Christian Missionary Fellowship International in Yaoundé, Cameroon to treat a prayer course titled “The School of Holiness” and at the beginning of the course Brother Zach announced that God had given us the World University of Prayer and appointed Sister Emilia as the Vice Chancellor. She was set apart for that task and Brother Zach laid hands on her with a prophetic word. It was God’s approval of us as a prayer ministry.

OUR VISION AND GOAL

The vision of the World University of Prayer and Fasting is from II Timothy 2: 1-3. It says:

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

This is what the World University of Prayer is about: To produce people who are strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; to select faithful people and to entrust to them the deposit of prayer so that they will be able to teach others, and to give to the Lord Jesus Christ soldiers; to produce people who through the weapon of prayer will hasten the return of the Lord. The goal of the World University of Prayer and Fasting is therefore to train 1million co-workers who walk with God, fast, pray and serve God. And out of the overflow of their lives of intimacy with God, of fasting and prayer, they will go and teach others in other nations to walk with God, pray, fast, and serve the Lord in the same way they were taught.

ACCOMPLISHMENT
Since the first Special Course of the World University of Prayer in September 1999, other Special Courses on Prayer have been treated. Between 1999 and 2007, Brother Zach various Courses on Prayer in the premises of the Christian Missionary Fellowship International Church of Yaoundé. Since Brother Zach’s departure in March 2009, the World University of Prayer and Fasting has had various special and general courses on Prayer. The Courses, since 2009, have been held in very modest and simple structures.

So far, there have been participants from 15 different nations and from 5 other Christian groups. The Chancellor, Brother Zach before his departure to glory, gave his last course in the World University of Prayer and Fasting. This course is presented verbatim in the book “The Centrality of Prayer”.

OUR BURDENS
Specifications with respect to the World University of Prayer and Fasting were given to Brother Zach in 2004. The University carries the burden of labouring to ensure that every believer prays for 1 to 3 hours a day, and fasts for 1 to 2 days a week or for 3 to 7 days a month. The World University of Prayer and Fasting will find, encourage, teach and help discipline (train) the believer with the gift of prayer who will pray for 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 or more hours each day; as well as the believer with the gift of fasting who fasts for 3 days every nine days or 7 days every 21 days or 10 days every 30 days or 40 days every 120 days. The World University of Prayer is to receive those who have the gifts of prayer, fasting and walking by faith and train them to maximize their gifts for God’s glory and for God’s Kingdom.

Courses offered will be in two categories:

• Twenty-four-hour to three-month courses for the entire body of Christ. Entry qualifications, fee and discipline are imperative.
• Six months to 9 years Courses are the University Courses open for those with the spiritual gift of prayer, fasting, or living by faith, who have met with the basic qualifications.

 Further specifications with respect to the World University of Prayer and Fasting came in 2007.

In the World University of Prayer and Fasting, we shall give qualifications from the First School Leaving Certificate right to Nobel Prize. (The diplomas will be in English).

• Advanced Level,
• Bachelor’s,
• Master’s,
• PhD.,
• Doctor of Divinity (Doctor of Science),
• Nobel Prize.

 You can have these degrees in Prayer and Fasting.

We also want to stir people all over the world into doing great things for God. You will be able to get a diploma in the domain of Soul-winning, Pastoring, Church-planting and Giving to God, etc. You qualify for each diploma as a result of your great deeds in a specific domain. We want to stir people to come out and do great things for God. We want to recognise high performance in the domains which, put together, will influence the taking of the Planet Earth for our Lord Jesus Christ. It will be difficult to think of anything whatsoever that can contribute to building the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ that will not be included in the diplomas that will be offered. There will also be diplomas in the domain of Leadership. The World University of Prayer and Fasting will:

• Produce people whose lives are schools of prayer.
• Produce people who will live prayer and teach prayer.
• Produce missionaries of prayer.
• Produce people who produce leaders in prayer, so that we may accomplish the goal.
• Produce people who:
  • seek God,
  • find God,
  • know God,
  • love God,
  • and pray as the overflow of this love that has consumed them, and flow out in prayer.
• Produce people who:
  • seek God,
  • find God,
  • know God,
  • love God,
  • and have mastered the art of prayer, so that their lives constitute a school of prayer.
• Produce people who:
  • seek God,
  • find God,
  • know God,
  • love God,
  • and have mastered the art of prayer and are burdened to produce people who pray.
• Produce people who know God and know how to pray, so that they may be called to carry out special battles for the success of our ministry. Also many of the graduates of the World University of Prayer will go to the local Churches to produce two types of people: the normal believer and the believer with the spiritual gift of prayer, fasting or walking by faith.

The first premises of the World University of Prayer and Fasting was at Etoug-Ebe, Yaoundé after the property was obtained.

At Koume, Bertoua, the World University of Prayer campus will have a 2.5 km square prayer path, so a person can have a 10 km prayer walk round the campus. There will be many prayer places spread out in that campus where one can pray alone or in a small group in the open. There will be a joint library of one million excellent Christian books to serve the School of Knowing and Serving God and the World University of Prayer and Fasting.
